Worship and Confirmation

There will be an opportunity for a different kind of worship on Wednesday evenings at 7pm at Holden. It will coincide with our confirmation class and will lean into learning as a form of worship. We are going to learn why we worship the way we do, what it means to be Lutheran, and anything else that comes along the way. It will still have prayer and communion, but will also have time for questions, discussion, and wonder. It is a worship open to all people, and I encourage you to attend! Bring your wisdom and curiosity.

One of the ways we worship God is by learning and sharing our learning with others. These worships will offer different ways to engage our faith. So, if you have felt in a slump, wondered if there was a different way, are adventurous, or maybe you were never taught why we call ourselves Lutheran; my prayer is that these different worship opportunities might grow our faith and help us love and serve our community.
